Auxiliary Power Supply Evaluation Board CRD-060DD17P-2 for C2M1000170J SiC MOSFET

Overview

The CRD-060DD17P-2 is a demonstration board for a single-ended flyback converter design using a commercially available 1700V silicon carbide (SiC) MOSFET. This design utilizes a 1700V SiC MOSFET in the new 7LD2PAK surface-mount package, which offers a compact footprint and wide creepage distances: 7mm between the drain and source. By utilizing this new surface-mount package, design engineers can implement cost-effective thermal designs without the need for a heat sink on the MOSFET. This demonstration board is not intended for production use and is intended solely as a tool for evaluating the performance of Cree switching devices.
