Causes and analysis of the noise when braking while driving[Copy link]
When the car is gliding in neutral, the brake is pressed and a "swing, swing" sound is heard on one side of the rear axle. At the same time, the brake clearance is not easy to adjust or is easy to change after adjustment. If the handbrake is pulled, the sound disappears immediately, and the sound appears immediately after the handbrake is released. There is no such sound when the vehicle is in gear and the brake is pressed when the vehicle is in gear, and there is no such sound when gliding in neutral. From the appearance, if there are traces of rusty water flowing out of the riveted part of the brake base plate, and a cracking sound is heard when the rivet is hit with a hammer, it means that the rivet of the brake base plate is loose.
At this time, if there is no obvious wear on the rivet hole, it can be replaced with a standard bolt for temporary use. If conditions permit, it should be re-riveted as much as possible. If the rivet is cut off on the way, it will damage the brake base plate, brake pipe, brake air chamber bracket and camshaft, which will cause the brake to fail. At this time, the brake pipe can also be blocked and the damaged parts can be removed for emergency treatment.
