Principle and application of TOPSwitch?FX series single-chip switching power supply [Copy link]

TOPSwitch?FX series is the third generation of monolithic switching power supply products launched by Power Integrations in the United States in early 2000, following TOPSwitch and TOPSwitch?Ⅱ. It is not only advanced in design and complete in functions, but also has simple peripheral circuits and is very flexible to use. "FX" means flexible. After TOPSwitch?FX is equipped with peripheral circuits, it can realize a variety of control functions, including the function of remotely controlling the switching power supply on/off with a microcontroller (MCU) or through a local area network (LAN). It is currently the best choice for designing high-efficiency, multi-functional, single-channel or multi-channel output flyback switching power supplies below 75W. In addition, this series of products can also constitute the standby power supply (StandbySupply) of PCs, set-top box power supply (Set?topBoxPowerSupply), power adapters, and switching power supplies controlled by microcontrollers.
