M62430 is the latest SRS digital surround sound processing chip developed and produced by Mitsubishi Corporation of Japan. It has a built-in sound recovery
system, that is, SRS complies with the SRS standard.
The M62430 has a dual-channel electronic volume and tone control circuit inside. Its volume control
can
be adjusted simultaneously in two channels or independently. The volume control uses a ladder resistor network with a step size of 1dBo, which can reduce noise and distortion.
Its tone control range is ±10dB, with a step size of 2dBo.
The main features of M62430 are:
(1) Electronic volume control: OdB~79dBo
(2) Tone control: Bass/midrange tone: OdB~±10dB, bass enhancement +10dB ( Can be switched on or off) o
(3) Space/center volume control : OdB ~ one. . dBo
(4) has four outputs including main channel and recording channel.
(5) It has a microcomputer control interface and uses 16-bit serial data to control all functions.
M62430 is a large-scale integrated circuit using an 80-pin flat package. Its system block diagram is shown in the figure.
