(NYSE stock code: VSH) announced the launch of the new F339X2 305VAC series automotive-grade X2 electromagnetic interference ( EMI) suppression film capacitor, the device is qualified for jumper circuit applications (50 Hz / 60 Hz) and is AEC-Q200 (Revision D) and IEC 60384-14: 2013 / AMD1: 2016 Class IIB certified.
In accordance with the new humidity level standard defined by IEC 60384-14: 2013 / AMD1: 2016 IIB level, Vishay BCcomponents F339X2 305VAC series capacitors were subjected to 500 hours of accelerated temperature and humidity testing at a temperature of 85 C, a relative humidity of 85%, and a rated voltage of Bias test (THB), capacitance value and loss coefficient are extremely stable, thus proving extremely high reliability and longer service life under harsh application conditions.
The devices announced today can be used as EMC filters in automotive and industrial power inverters. Capacitor pin spacing is 15 mm, 22.5 mm and 27.5 mm; capacitance values are from 0.1 μF to 4.7 μF with tolerances as low as 10%; DC voltage is allowed in the range of 630 V.
