Product Description
3M™ Bumpon™ Protective Product Quiet Clear SJ6500 Series are molded cushioning products that utilize a special,
soft polyurethane formulation and synthetic rubber adhesive. This unique construction provides an excellent cushioning
stop, spacer or non-skid foot solution, with enhanced sound damping characteristics. The 3M high tack, pressure-
sensitive adhesive is protected with a polyester release liner, making individual Bumpon removal and application
quick and easy.

Features and Applications
All 3M™ Bumpon™ Protective Products feature a plasticizer-free, urethane composition which exhibits:
• Excellent skid resistance
• Long aging resiliency – resistant to cracking and hardening
• Abrasion resistance
• Resistance to marring and staining
3M™ Bumpon™ Protective Products Quiet Clear utilize a special, softer polyurethane formulation than standard series
3M™ Bumpons™:
• Provides excellent sound damping and noise reduction characteristics
• The transparent polyurethane allows the customer to match a variety of surface colors and finishes
• Optimal shapes to reduce slamming noise on custom wood and other cabinetry applications
• Use as cushioning stops on cabinet doors, lids and drawers
• Work well as spacers to help provide alignment, or as an aid in assembly
• Used as non-skid feet, applied to bottom of small, desktop or hand-held electronics, computers, office accessories
• Act as protectors to help prevent surfaces from touching in shipping, or other applications where adjacent surfaces
need protection
3M™ Bumpon™ Protective Products Quiet Clear utilize 3M synthetic rubber adhesive
• Provides quick bond to variety of surfaces, including low surface energy materials like polypropylene, powdercoats
and wood stains/finishes
• Fast initial adhesion for parts going through assembly lines to help reduce dislodged parts
