Built on leading Digi embedded device server technology,
the Digi Connect N2S-170 card is an intelligent and highly
integrated Ethernet network controller solution for Model 170
traffic signal controller equipment. It delivers reliable network
connectivity for Model 170 equipment in Model 400 modem
card-compatible from factor.
Easy web-based configuration, a robust TCP/IP stack with
universal IP address assignment capabilities, and Digi’s
patented RealPort software provides a virtual connection to
the Digi Connect N2S-170, no matter where it resides on the
network. The software is installed directly on the host and
allows applications to talk to devices across a network as
though the devices were directly attached to the host. In
actuality, the devices are connected to a Digi device server or
terminal server somewhere on the network.
RealPort® COM/TTY port redirector, custom Java applet
support, enhanced security options based on SSL/TLS
with NIST-certified encryption, and intelligent device
management options make the Digi Connect N2S-170 an
ideal future-proof choice for traffic management and control
applications.
