DESCRIPTION
The LCDP1511D is a dual line protector which pro-
tects subscriber line interface circuits (SLIC)
against transient overvoltages.
Positive overvoltages are clamped with diodes to-
wards GND, while negative overvoltages are sup-
pressed by thyristors connected to GND. The
breakdown voltage of the thyristors is determined
by the voltage applied to the gate, generally -V
bat
.
