The AutoTab system automatically
inserts pre-stamped terminals directly
into printed circuit boards, bobbins,
housings or other substrates.
Autosplice insertion systems feed,
cut and install the terminals in one
simultaneous operation which
typically generates no scrap.
Autosplice offers several standard
platforms of assembly equipment to
meet all levels of production.
Standard Products
AutoTab
®
terminals are stamped
from a continuous strip of material
with the use of precision, progressive
dies and then post plated to provide
optimum solderability and corrosion
resistance. The terminal is then
reeled ready for machine insertion.
Autosplice offers a family of
standard parts. Products are
designed for use in the automotive,
electrical, telecommunications and
electronics industries.
AutoTab-Terminals
AutoTab (I+II) terminals are fed into
the machine horizontally, whereas
AutoLug terminals are fed
vertically.

Terminal Specifications
Alloys and plating of terminals in
catalog are: CuZn 30 with 0.0030
[.00012] tin/lead plating over 0.0013
[.00005] nickel plating (solderability in
accordance with MIL/STD 202F).
Alloys such as phosphor bronze,
aluminum, cupro nickel, and stainless
steel are available on special order.
Platings such as gold are also
available. Terminals are packaged
end to end on single reels.

special order.
