Assembly Procedure
Adjust press shut height.
Install press platen 3442-9.
Install locator plate.
Cut required cable length.
Remove adhesive liner.
Place cable correctly into connector cover.
Place cover with cable onto the connector body.
Place the connector covet down into the correct groove.
Assemble by lowering the press handle.
Raise press handle and remove the finished assembly.
Visually inspect the harness to ensure that the cover is fully locked and cable alignment is correct. The
latch should be flush with the end of the connector (at both ends) and the cover should be flush with the
rear face of the flange at both ends.
