Function Description
Four high order bi-directional three-state data bus lines.
Four low order bi-directional three-state data bus lines. These
four are not used during 4-bit operation.
Operation enable signal. Falling edge triggered for top 2 lines.
Read/Write select signal, R/W=1: Read R/W:=0: Write
Register Select signal. RS=0: Command, RS=1: Data
Supply Voltage for contrast (approx. 0.5V)
Ground
Supply Voltage for logic (+5.0V)
Operation Enable signal. Falling edge triggered for bottom 2
lines.
No Connect
Backlight Anode (+5.0V via on board resistor)
Backlight Cathode (Ground)
