Stackable Connectors
FEATURES:
• Hermaphroditic stackable connectors allow the stacking of .062
[1.58] PCBs on .500 [12.70] or .600 [15.24] board centers.
• Stack as many boards as desired by soldering the solder tail
version in the bottom mother board and then press fitting
equivalent pin count units with the stackable style pin in the
daughter boards.
• Designed to accept .025 [.64] square pins.
SPECIFICATIONS:
• Body material is blue UL 94V-0 Glass-filled Polyester
Thermoplastic.
• Pins are Phosphor Bronze Alloy 510, hard temper.
• Pin plating options are as follows:
“0”: 100µ [2.54µm] min. Tin per MIL-T-10727 over
50µ [1.27µm] min. Nickel per QQ-N-290.
“1”: 10µ [.25µm] min. Gold per MIL-G-45204 over
50µ [1.27µm] min. Nickel per QQ-N-290.
“2” 10µ [.25µm] min. Gold over 50µ [1.27µm] min.
Nickel, as in option “1”, in contact area, and
100µ [2.54µm] min. Tin over 50µ [1.27µm] min.
Nickel, as in option “0”, on balance of pin.
• Current rating=1 Amp.
• Operating temperature=221°F [105°C] Tin plating,
=257°F [125°C] Gold plating.
• PCB Installing Force=5 pounds nom./pin; based on a .040
[1.02] dia. plated thru hole.
• Insertion Force=85 grams/pin max.; Withdrawal Force=28
grams/pin min.; Normal Force=100 grams/pin min.
• Insulation resistance=1000 MOhms min.
• Dielectric withstanding voltage=600 VAC.
• Accepts leads .020-.030 [.51-.76] square, .115-.325
[2.92-8.23] long.
MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS:
• Suggested PCB hole size (for solder tail)=.045 ± .002
[1.14 ± .05] dia.
