Design Requirements
The Magnetic Door Contact must be made with Magnasphere BMS magnetic switch technology.
The Magnetic Door Contact must be used with End of Line (EOL) resistors and be compatible with control panel
models that accept contact inputs.
PRODUCTS – MSS single switch series – (example:09/10C, 09 /10CT, 19C, 19/20CL, 25C, 25/26CL, 63S, 22/24S,
53/54SL, 88/89SL, 105/106S) &MSS multi-switch 300 series (example: 321S, 312C)
Materials
Switch and Magnet Housings made of UL 94HB plastic or aluminum –Housing dimensions to be nominally 3/8”
diameter (09), 3/4" diameter (19), 1” (25) or 2.5” long (63, 321), or 4” long (105)
Internal switches must be Magnasphere technology (BMS)
Contacts must be fully potted using 94HB rated material
Lead wires to be solid color coded
Design features
Magnetic Door Contacts with Magnasphere technology provides enhanced security and durability versus reed switch
based contacts
Contact form: One Open Loop Alarm contact (09, 19, 22, 25, 63, 105) or one Closed Loop Alarm contact (10, 20, 26,
24, 54, 88, 106) or Two or Three Alarm contacts, Open or Closed Loop or combinations of Open and Closed Loop
(MSS-3XX series).
