3M™ Masking Tape 203 is a general purpose masking tape that can be used for
holding, bundling, sealing and a vast number of other jobs where a pressure-
sensitive tape is needed.

been laboratory tested on painted steel panels and found to remove cleanly at bake temperatures
of up to 200°F (93.3°C) for 30 minutes. The actual temperature and time performance may be higher or
lower for a given application. Clean removal can vary dependent on surface type, processing conditions
such as multiple bakes, type of paint involved as well as the temperature of the surface at removal. We
recommend testing the product under your conditions to determine if it meets your needs.
Features
• Tape has been tested and found to meet the requirements of ASTM D 6123 /
D 6123M-97. Can be certified to this standard upon request.
• The rubber adhesive provides good instant adhesion that sticks to a wide variety
of surfaces.
• Good holding power to resist lifting or curling.
• Crepe paper backing that is conformable.
• Backing resists slivering yet is hand tearable.
• Designed for indoor use. Tape may become very difficult to remove if subjected
to prolonged outdoor exposure.

Store under normal conditions of 70°F (21°C) and 50% R.H. in the original carton.
Shelf Life
To obtain best performance, use this product within one year from date of
