Scotch
®
Box Sealing Tape 355 is a superior performance packaging tape used for
box sealing, splicing, recooperage and other demanding packaging applications.
This product has a strong abrasion resistant backing and a very consistent pressure
sensitive hot melt adhesive system available. This time proven construction assures
high performance in a wide range of environments and applications.

Features
• Pressure sensitive hot melt rubber-resin adhesive.
• Meets Fed. Spec. PPP-T-60E, Amend. 2, Type III, Class 2 (clear),
CID A-A-1830B (clear), ASTM D5486 Type 1 & 2.
• Adheres instantly to most surfaces, including cartons containing high levels of
recycled content.
• Strong abrasion resistant backing with high edge tear and split resistance.

Application Techniques
An extensive line of application equipment including hand held manual dispensers
and semi-automatic and fully automatic equipment is available. Application of
Scotch
®
Box Sealing Tape 355 is most easily accomplished at room temperature. At
colder temperatures, approaching 32°F (0°C), the adhesive becomes more firm. Once
applied, Scotch
®
Tape 355 performs well throughout the normal temperature ranges
typically encountered by packaged products in shipping and storage environments.
Storage Conditions
Store in a clean, dry place. Temperature of 40-80°F (4-26°C) and 40 to 50% relative
humidity are recommended.
Shelf Life
To obtain best performance, use this product within 18 months from date of
manufacture.
