The compact 3M™ Fiber Dome Stubbed Terminal FDST is

designed to be deployed in outside plant FTTP networks. The

re-enterable hermetically sealed fiber dome terminal can be

deployed in aerial strand mount, pole mount, wall mount,

pedestal or handhole applications.

The FDST terminal is equipped with flat dielectric cable and

accommodates 4, 6 or 8 3M™ ECAM FD Factory Terminated

SC/APC Fiber Drops. In the FDST 08 terminal, the drop cable

is terminated inside the terminal. This helps to reduce the

potential for connector contamination. The FDST terminal

features a fixed O-ring sealing system along with an

innovative latching mechanism. This combination provides

simple, error-free terminal sealing and re-entry. Also, the re-

entry feature allows easy access to clean and repair

connectors and replace the terminal or terminal tail in the

event that either of these are damaged. If you choose field

terminated drop termination please refer to 3M's No Polish

Single Mode Connectors. If you use the factory terminated

drop termination then refer to the factory terminated drops.
