This multi-sheeted adhesive system captures dirt on contact from shoe soles, wheels, and other
passing objects. 3M™ Clean-Walk Mats deliver important advantages:
• Non-transferring adhesive mat locks dirt in place until discarded.
• Helps keep work areas clean by reducing passage of dirt from production areas to
clean office environments.
• Extends life of floors and carpet surfaces.
• Individually tabbed and numbered sheets remove easily and identify remaining applications.
• No cleaning required, mat performance renewed with each new adhesive sheet exposed.

Thin mat adheres to clean, smooth floor surfaces.
Not recommended for carpeted surfaces.

Pull white tabbed liner to
expose adhesive on back
of mat.

Adhere mat to a clean,
dry, smooth floor surface
by pressing firmly in place.

Peel off top protective
layer to expose first sheet.
Mat is now ready for use.
5840 Framed Mat Series:
(White mat/pad mounted to white or black frame.)

Place framed mat in desired location.

Peel off top protective liner; mat is now ready for use.
5842 Replacement Pad — for 5840 Framed Mat Series:

Follow installation instructions for 5830 Series except adhere mat/pad
to plastic frame instead of floor.
