High Reliability Spring Pin Connectors
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
To compliment the stamped and formed spring technology, we have
available a range of spring pin devices used in high reliability battery and
I/O applications. These applications range from secure radio I/O, micro-
phone cable connections, battery backed medical equipment, logistics
terminals and military equipment.
This flexible capability combines standard contacts with custom molded
housings. These can vary in size, shape and termination style, for exam-
ple flex, PCB and cable. The available contact options enables us to offer
a wide range of variations.
Within the range we can offer options of turned pins for both plug and
socket (9151), or turned pin socket (9152) and stamped plug (9153).
Custom designs from the product ranges include:
• Integrated coax connections
• Sealing up to IP68
• Variations for contact layout, (eg single row, dual row, circular and grid)
• Screw fixing of the plug to the socket from the cover
• Latch fixing of the plug to the socket from the cover
• Die cast covers for military applications
• Polarization of covers on a multi-connector device
• 90 degree and in-line covers
• Variation of the contact pitch
