3M™ 46 Electrical Tape is a polyester
film/glass filament tape coated with a
thermosetting, pressure-sensitive rubber
adhesive system. The polyester film/glass
backing has excellent physical and electrical
characteristics. 46 tape is especially suited for
such applications as lead anchoring and
banding of coils where high edge-tear
resistance and low stretch under application
tension are needed.
