The CMS-PEN plotter pens were developed for industrial
use with the CMS-P1-PLOTTER. They are suitable for label-
ing plastic surfaces of Phoenix Contact marking material.
The plotter pens are provided with a carbide drawing tip with
a cross-shaped notch in the front face. This drawing tip
guarantees a high level of durability, a faster flow of ink,
clear lines and a high opacity.
A special ink (CMS-INK-TR-C5) ensures a print image of a
very high quality and wipe resistance.
The plotter pens are supplied with a sealing cap. The seal-
ing cap has an integrated sealing system, preventing the
plotter pens from drying out.
The plotter pens are available as refillable or disposable
pens. The disposable pens are already filled with 1 ml spe-
cial ink, refilling is not possible. If the ink supply is used up,
the pen will be completely disposed.
The refillable plotter pens are filled with special ink using an
ink cartridge. Refilling from a larger container is not neces-
sary owing to the cartridge shape.
Cleaning cartridges can be used to clean the refillable plot-
ter pens, if required. Instead of the ink cartridge, a cleaning
cartridge is placed on the plotter pen. The cleaning fluid is
then pushed through the plotter pen and collected in a
cleaning cup.
