Econo D Connectors
The D*U series has a two-piece insulator as well as crimp, snap-in-rear contacts that can be inserted by hand. An
economical connector ideal for commercial applications where field replacement of contacts is required at a lower cost
than high-reliability connectors.
Insulator Material:
Two-piece thermoplastic polyester UL-94-VO rated.
Voltage Rating:
1000 VAC rms at sea level.
Current Rating:
5 Amps.
Operating Temperature:
Ð65¡F to + 125¡F. The D*U version is UL
recognized.
Contact Material:
Copper alloy (machined), cadmium copper (stamped) with gold over nickel plating.

These backshells fit both standard and high-density D-Subminiature
Connectors. All listed items include a set of PVC compression inserts that
enable them to fit a range of cable sizes. All items have zinc-plated steel
hardware. Series DPH has a cover of black ABS polymer. Series DCH
(metallized plastic) has the same and is plated with nickel over copper. Series
DMH is die-cast zinc.
