Compared to standard 105 °C snap-ins like the Type 381L/LX

Type 381LR can handle an extra 25% ripple current or more. This

remarkable capability stems from advances in electrolyte that give

extremely low ESR values.In high ripple current applications like

motor drives you can save by using fewer capacitors.
