versus previous industry-standard versions.
This new Compact SC adapter offers the lowest profile
height (14.80mm) in the industry. It includes metal
spring panel-mount clips that enable more compact
stacking. The sturdy one-piece design is more durable
than competitive 2-piece versions that can come apart
from rugged use.
The major application for this new connector is in
Fiber-to-the-Home systems that require rugged
connectors that meet high bandwidth needs.
