EDGE MTP

trunks are preterminated cables with
12-fibre MTP connectors or LC duplex connectors on
either side. The trunks build up the major skeleton of the
passive network infrastructure, and thanks to the superior
design including Corning
®
ClearCurve
®
fibre, they enable
rapid deployment for your campus LAN or data centre
facility. All trunks are shipped with strain-relief clips that
allow for the tool-less installation in both EDGE Soluions
and Plug & Play™ Systems housings. These trunks con-
form to TIA-568 Type-B polarity.
Features and Benefits
Transition from multi-fibre into single-fibre environments
Feature non-pinned (male) MTP connectors on one end
and single-fibre connectors (LC Duplex Uniboot) on the
other
Single-fibre connector side to plug into sigle-fibre patch
panels or electronics ports
Non-pinned MTP side plugs into modules or harnesses.
