Description
These solid state surface mount
LEDs are designed with a reflec-
tor cup which provides direc-
tional lighting. The reflector cup
focuses the light more efficiently
to provide about 60% higher in-
tensity and a narrower viewing
angle as compared to the non-
reflector cup equivalent part. This
makes the product excellent for
use with light pipe in backlighting
or status indication application.
The LED material of these parts
includes blue, high brightness
green, and very efficient AlInGaP
material which is capable of pro-
ducing high light output over a
wide range of driving current.
These ChipLEDs are shipped in
tape and reel with 3000 units per
reel.
In order to ensure light output
uniformity within one reel, all
parts are color and intensity
binned, except for red color.
They also come in industrial stan-
dard footprint and have a flat top
to make them compatible with
any automatic placement equip-
ment. The parts are compatible
with IR reflow.
