PH
The PH series capacitors are designed specifically for photoflash use. These capacitors are both
large and small sized with a standard working voltage of 330 volts and a tolerance of 10% to
20%. The PH series has an operating temperature range of 20 C to 55 C with low leakage
and low loss capabilities for the repetitive charging and discharging associated with photoflash use.
Radial lead terminals are standard for the PH series; however, these special strobe capacitors are
also available with snap-in leads or screw terminals upon request.
The PH series capacitors are non-solvent proof and are not recommended when halogenated
cleaning solvents are used. Refer to the Mini-Glossary for recommended cleaning conditions.

Lead Length: LL is Standard.
Case Code: See Case Sizes in Tables.
Capacitance Tolerance: V = 10% to 20%
Capacitance Value: Expressed in Microfarads. The first two digits are
significant figures, and the third digit indicates the number of zeros
for capacitance of 100 F or more. R indicates the decimal point for
capacitance less than 100 F (e.g. R10 = .10 F; 1R0 = 1.0 F;
10R = 10 F; 101 = 100 F; 102 = 1,000 F; 103 = 10,000 F ).
Lead Configuration: VB = Radial Lead Terminals.
DC Rated Voltage: Expressed in Volts (e.g. 330 = 330WVDC).
Series Name: Indicates Basic Capacitor Design.
