PD17P236 is a model of the

PD17236 with a one-time PROM instead of an internal mask ROM.
Since the user can write programs to the
µ
PD17P236, it is ideal for experimental production or small-scale
production of the
µ
PD17230, 17231, 17232, 17233, 17234, 17235, or 17236 systems.
