APPLICATION

The Dialight D264 Series LED medium intensity beacon incorporates state-of-the-art LEDs into an efficient optical

design to give the performance needed in order to meet ICAO and FAA requirements, whilst only consuming 48

watts of power. This beacon has been designed for ease of installation with reduced size and weight, as detailed

overleaf. This beacon can be flashed or steady-burned and requires no additional cabling for monitoring. It can

easily be synchronized with the use of an external controller, and due to the reduced power consumption, lends

itself to solar applications.

OPERATING CONDITIONS

The beacon is designed to withstand the dynamic conditions experienced in the most severe environments around

the world. The beacon has been tested and can be operated in the following conditions: flashing or steady

burned, temperatures ranging from -55 to +55 degrees Celsius, direct sunlight, wind-blown rain, wind in excess of

240kmh, high humidity, salt fog.

MATERIALS/FINISH

The Beacon is designed for durability with a cast aluminum base and stainless steel hardware. The dome is made

of UV resistant acrylic and sealed to ensure maximum life of the product.
