Meritec’s DIMM (Dual In-Line Memory
Modules) Sockets are the latest addition to
Meritec’s family of Card Edge Connectors.
DIMM Sockets enable the user to easily
upgrade memory using industry standard mod-
ules. The DIMM Sockets are designed to
accept and meet the JEDEC standards for
high-density dual in line memory modules. To
combat the increasing height restrictions inside
the box, Meritec has developed a 25° and 90°
Low Profile DIMM Socket. This socket is avail-
able in the 168 and 200 circuit configuration
with options in tail length, voltage, and function
key location.

FEATURES and BENEFITS
• Socket housing accepts all JEDEC module
outlines; stackable on .50'' centers - the
smallest in the industry
• PdNi/Au flash plating for improved plating
porosity and durability
• Housing includes molded-in function and
voltage key
• LCP housing provides stability during the
wave and reflow soldering processes.
• Plastic pegs hold down socket during the
soldering process
• Dual latches provide latch and eject function
• Narrow profile allows better air flow

• Dielectric material - Liquid crystal polymer resin
