Located in Irvine, California, we offer a “total concept” organizational interface to serve our
customers with “on time” quality products. The principle management team has over 75 years
of engineering and manufacturing experience in the connector field. This “ know how” is
particularly strong in those connector applications utilized by our Military, Commercial Aircraft,
and the Aerospace Industry.
Our company name and logo was chosen as a reflection of the success, reliability,
performance of the renowned F4U fighter, and our commitment to customer service.

The Vought F4U Corsair
This famous World War II fighter was first ordered by the Navy in June 1938, and also saw active
service during the Korean War. There were over 12,500 aircraft manufactured, with production ending
in January 1952. It was easily recognizable by its unique inverted gull wing, necessary for sufficient
ground clearance required by the large propeller.
Over the years, seven configurations were manufactured, designated F4U through F4U-7. The aircraft
saw service with Navy and Marine squadrons, and was also utilized by the Royal Navy, where various
modifications were made to improve the aircraft for carrier use.
A few are still flying in the hands of enthusiasts, or on display at various air museums, including
the Smithsonian.
