Glass-encapsulated sensors for media contact
B57565G1
G1565
Applications
Temperature measurement
Features
Glass-encapsulated NTC thermistor,
heat-resistant and highly stable
Coating of glass body and leads for electrical
insulation and improved resistance against
media
For temperature measurement up to
260
°C
in oil
Short response time
Leads: dumet wires (copper-clad FeNi)
Testing conditions must be verified
Options
Leads: nickel-plated dumet wires, alternative
dimensions and resistance values available
on request.
For temperature measurement in other
media on request.

Note
The type series G1565 has a specially designed insulation (coating, wire coating) to withstand the
named media tests. Therefore these sensors must be protected to avoid any damage of the
insulation material during handling and in the application. The non-insulated area of the NTC
element must not have contact with the media or vapor thereof.
