The FX1000, when used with the FX1041 line-side codec, provides all of
the functionality required to implement an FXO for Voice over IP (VoIP)
applications. The FX1000 provides the interface to the VoIP SoC through
its TDM interface (for data) and SPI bus (for control), and an interface to the
FX1041 Line-side codec through a high-voltage isolation barrier.

FX1000/FX1041 System Overview
The LSI FX1000 chipset is a two-chip solution consisting of an LSI FX1000 serial interface device and an FX1041 line-side codec. The FX1000 device is
available in a 24-pin MLCC suitable for most VoIP applications. Figure 1 shows a typical application using an FX1000 interface device along with FX1041
silicon Data Access Arrangement (DAA) to add FXO capability to a system.
