Mount Chip Resistors for
Epoxy and Solder Mount
The
ims
RCX, HCX series of thick film wraparound surface mount chip resistors is ideal
for most applications requiring epoxy or solder die attaching methods. Thick film
technology provides a stable resistor at a very affordable price. The “X” designation in
each series is a variable that allows for specifying the termination metalization. Please
see the ordering information on the back for instructions. The wraparound terminations
use gold, platinum gold, platinum silver, or platinum silver with solder coating. These chip
resistors have the following features:
• High stability thick film resistor element
• 96% Al
2
O
3
substrate material
• Platinum silver(PtAg), platinum gold(PtAu), solder coated platinum silver, solder coated
platinum gold, or gold(Au) terminations
• Tolerances to ± 1%
• Passivated resistor element available where not standard
• Available in bulk, tape and reel, and waffle pack

The first three digits are significant
values. The fourth is the number of
zeroes following. The R indicates a
decimal point when resistance value is
