The New Jersey Semiconductor 1N2970B Series types are Silicon Zener diodes, manufactured in a hermetically

sealed metal case, designed for high reliability industrial application. Also available in reverse polarity connection

(must add an "R" suffix in part number - ex. 1N2970RB).
