Kit assembled in U.S.A
ESE terminal blocks provide economic benefits and enhance Molex's existing Eurostyle™ terminal block offering. A wiring technique that is
attractive for marketing requirements, as well as, easy for users to access, can greatly improve the success of end products that use power
terminal blocks. All Two-Screw terminal strips meet applicable industry standards and have a flammability rating of UL 94V-2. In addition, they are
designed with wire protectors to prevent wire damage and to ensure a reliable connection. Pre-drilled mounting holes allow for quick and easy
installation in the field. Design engineers are looking to bring more power directly to the PCB, instead of using other costly and time-consuming
methods, such as ring cable lugs or customized DIN-rail terminal blocks.
Features and Benefits
• Modular design allows larger blocks to be easily cut into smaller circuit sizes
• Contacts and screws are recessed in the housing to help prevent short circuits
• Rising cage clamp wire termination provides secure, reliable contact
• Multiple PCB terminals distribute power more evenly, reducing "hot spots"
• Extended wire funnel entry surrounds the wire insulator, eliminating exposed wire strands and possible shorting
• Fixed or pluggable product styles allow for maximum design flexibility
• Captive screws in all terminal blocks mean that screws will not back out of housing or mounting ends
• High temperature housing to withstand lengthy solder pre-heat conditions
Applications
• Power supplies
• Industrial Applications
• Motor controls
• HVAC equipment
• Lighting controls
• Security/fire alarm systems
