GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This module is a Class 2 Bluetooth
device; surface mountable in an auto-
matic mounting line or manually for
prototyping. It provides a fully Bluetooth
compliant device for data and voice
communications. The interfaces to a
host (UART and USB) can support full
Bluetooth data rate of 723.2kbps. A

The module is available with a number of
different firmware versions: The Wire-
less UART firmware implements the
Serial Port Profile (SPP) with an easy to
use command interface. All information
sent to the serial interface is trans-
mitted transparently via Bluetooth to
the connected remote device.
Other firmware versions are: Headset,
HCI, RFCOMM and the possibility to get
customized standalone applications
implemented on the module.
