Overview
Polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) film capacitor for surface
mounting is encapsulated in a self-extinguishing material,
meeting the requirements of UL 94V–0. GMC capacitors
meet the standards according to IEC 60384–23.
Applications
Typical applications include bypassing and signal coupling.
GMC is a general purpose series designed for the highest
reliability and high temperature service. Not suitable for
across-the-line application (see suppressor capacitors).
