for wire-to-wire connection in
control, automation, instrumen-
tation and power distribution
applications. A special design
feature on the flexible foot
enables easy mounting and dis-
mounting from the DIN Rail with
the help of a screwdriver.
The terminals with
AEx eII
Ex eII
can be used in a
potentially explosive atmos-
phere which may occur in
chemical and petrochemical
industry. These terminals can
be used in Class 1, Zone 0, 1
& 2 hazardous locations.
These terminal blocks com-
ply to En 500019.

Feed-Through Multi-Connection
Connect multiple wires to a single
terminal block and eliminate relia-
bility problems encountered when
connecting two wires into a single
clamp. Two versions are available.
Type CMC1-2 features a single
screw-cage clamp for 22-10 AWG
wires on one side and two clamps
on the other side for 22-10 AWG
wires.

Feed-Through Double Level
Altech double level terminals
are the answer to high wiring
density problems posed by cer-
tain unavoidable wiring arrange-
ments. Double level terminals
have the following advantages:
• Double wiring density avail-
able without extension of
mounting rails.
• Interconnection/shorting can
be done at both levels.
• Marking/identification by
marking tags possible at
both levels.
CDL4U(I.S) internally shorted
double level terminals are useful
for distribution applications by
using shorting links at lower lev-
els.
