PL13/15 Pulsed Series Laser Diode Modules
PD-LD Inc. now offers a choice of
packaging options for its’ Pulsed Series
of laser diodes. The se units are
available in re ady-to-use, f iber-coupled
packages, including FC, ST, an d SC
receptacles, as well as fiber- pig tailed
units.
These Pulsed InGaAsP
laser
diodes offered by PD-LD are of proven
design and m anufacture; the stan dard
wavelengths ar e ce ntered at 1310 an d
1550nm. Fibe r-coupled Pulsed (d uty
cycle= 1%, p ulse width= 10us) output
powers ra nge f rom 60 to 120 mW,
depending on wavelength an d de sired
performance le vel. Th ese
semiconductor lase rs have
low
threshold an d operating cu rrents that
help to ensure high reli ability and long
operating life.
Optional board- or panel -mount
flanges are a vailable f or p igtailed
devices; contact PD-L D Sale s. Fib er
Pigtailed devices are made u sing a n
active m icro-positioning s ystem an d
YAG La ser welding s ystem e nsuring
high reliabilit y and coup ling ef ficiency.
High power pulsed lasers have a 4
pin configuration and do not have a rear
facet monitor detector.
