Die breite Produktpalette an Sockeln von ASSMANN
WSW components stellt eine kostengünstige Alterna-
tive zu vergleichbaren Produkten anderer Hersteller
dar.
Ursprünglich entstand der Bedarf für Sockel mit der
Entwicklung des Computers bzw. mit der Entwicklung
von programmierbaren, aktiven Bauelementen (IC´s),
die im Vergleich zu anderen Bauelementen eine beson-
ders hohe Wertigkeit haben. Anwender sind bis heute
damit konfrontiert, dass teure, aktive Bauelemente neu
programmiert oder diese aufgrund einer Störung aus-
getauscht werden müssen. Zur Sicherstellung eines
möglichen Austausches bzw. für eine zerstörungsfreie
Entnahme des aktiven Bauteils werden unterschied-
lichste Sockel hergestellt. Heute werden Sockel für alle
Anwendermärkte hergestellt, in denen aktive Bauele-
mente eingesetzt werden.
Zu den gängigsten Bauformen gehören die sogenann-
ten Dual - Inline - Sockel mit unterschiedlicher Anzahl
von Kontakten, angefangen von 16 Kontakten bis hin
zu 64 Kontakten. Je nach aktivem Bauelement bietet
ASSMANN WSW components Sockel mit den Ra-
stern 2,54mm und 1,778mm an. Diese Sockel sind
wahlweise mit gestanzten oder gedrehten Kontakten
zu erhalten. Bei den gedrehten Kontakten starten die
Kontaktlängen bei 7,43mm und enden bei 25,90mm.
Selbst doppelreihige Fassungen und sogenannte Ad-
apterplattformen sind in den verschiedensten Stiftlän-
gen und Polzahlen verfügbar. Präzisionsleisten mit
einem Vierflächenkontaktsystem, sowie Chip – Carrier
- Sockel (PLCC), LED-Sockel und PGA – Fassungen
runden das Produktprogramm ab .
Sondervarianten mit Sonderstiftlängen , unterschied-
lichsten Oberflächenvergütungen und Sonderbestü-
ckungen können durch ASSMANN WSW components
auf Anfrage umgesetzt werden.
The wide range of sockets from ASSMANN WSW com-
ponents is a reasonable alternative compared with
comparable products from other manufacturers.
Originally the demand for sockets occur at that times,
when the computer respectively programmable , active
components have been introduced into the markets.
These active components had a high value compa-
red with other components and users had been faced
with that these high value components had to be new
programmed or had been destroyed and replacement
needed to be made. To ensure, that such components
can be replaced a range of different sockets is offe-
red. Today, such sockets are produced for nearly every
market, which is using high value active components.
The most common and used design are the so called
Dual - Inline - sockets with different number of contacts,
starting with 16 contacts and ending with 64 contacts.
Depending on the used active component ASSMANN
WSW components is offering 2.54mm and 1.778mm
pitches. Such sockets are available with stamped and
machined contacts. Machined contacts do cover the
range of the lengths between 7.43mm and 25.90mm.
Even double row sockets the so called adapter sockets
can be ordered based on different pin lengths and num-
ber of contacts. Precision sockets including the four-
finger contact design, chip carrier sockets (PLCC), LED
sockets and PGA sockets are as well part of the pro-
duct range.
Special sockets with e.g. special pin lengths, special
platings and special contact loadings can be offered by
ASSMANN WSW components upon request.
