PL78/83/98 Series Near IR Laser Diode Modules
PD-LD Inc. offers a variety of
packaging op tions for its’ Near Inf ra
Red Series of laser diodes. These units
are a vailable in read y-to-use, f iber-
coupled pa ckages, including FC, ST,
and SC rece ptacles, as well as f iber-
pigtailed units.
The laser diodes offered by PD-
LD are o f proven de sign a nd
manufacture; the standard wavelengths
are ce ntered at 7 80nm, 8 30nm and
980nm. F iber-coupled CW (continuous-
wavelength) o utput po wers ra nge f rom
0.1 - 10 m W, dep ending on the fiber
type and de sired perf ormance level.
Devices may be optim ized for coupling
to s ensor or te lecommunication size
optical fiber, from 5um to 200um core.
Optional board- or panel -mount
flanges ar e ava ilable for p igtailed
devices; contact PD -LD Sales. Also,
PD-LD Inc. w ill pa ckage non- standard
lasers or part s specified by a custom er
using standard or custom receptacle or
pigtailing techniques. Both receptacle
and pigtail packages are made using an
active m icro-positioning s ystem a nd
proven packaging te chniques. Re liable
and efficient devices are produced.
In may case several different pin-
out o ptions are a vailable f or si milar
wavelength lasers.
