Connector for FFC and FPC
Features –––––––––––––––––––––––
• Surface mountable (SMT)
Because of its small pitch and its ability to be surface mounted,
this connector meets the demand for high-density packaging.
• Double-leaf contact mating enhances
reliability through redundancy
This connector has highly resilient double-leaf contacts that
ensure continuity even when subjected to severe vibration and
shock.
• Low profile design
This connector is very small with a mounting height of only
3.0mm (.118")
• Simple snap-in action
The FFC or FPC is securely connected by simply inserting
their leads into the connector.
The FF series connectors are designed for
surface mounting (SMT) and to meet the
demand for high-density packaging. They
are miniature connectors with a height of
only 3.0mm (.118"). Their high contact
pressure eliminates fretting corrosion and
ensures secure connections. Light
insertion forces make connection easy.
• Available on tape for automation
On request, this connector is available on embossed heat
resistant resin (PPS) tape. Contact JST for details.
