In this lecture, Professor Wu Deben first introduced the main characteristics and concepts of information, and briefly introduced the third scientific and technological revolution, leading to telecommunications technology. Then it focuses on introducing the concepts of sinusoidal signals, analog signals and digital signals and their characteristics, formulas, theorems, etc., and also explains digital transmission technology. It is designed to give students a comprehensive grasp of some basic concepts of modern telecommunications technology.
