This document describes the Telegesis ETRX2-PA ZigBee module, which is designed to be integrated into another device and provide a fast, simple and low-cost wireless mesh network interface. Unless explicitly stated, the content also applies to ETRX2HR-PA modules that use a Hirose U.FL coaxial antenna connector in place of the onboard ceramic antenna. Users cannot convert ETRX2-PA to ETRX2HR-PA or vice versa .
The Telegesis ETRX2-PA module is based on the Ember ZigBee platform, which consists of the single-chip EM250 and the EmberZNet mesh stack compliant with the ZigBee PRO standard. Integrating the simple-to-use AT style command interface and advanced hardware design, a wide range of applications can be easily implemented. Configurable functionality often allows the use of the ETRX2-PA wireless mesh module without the need for an additional host microcontroller, saving even more integration time and cost. In addition to the Telegesis AT command set, the ETRX2-PA can be used with custom build firmware or the Ember EZSP based UART protocol interface...
No RF experience or expertise is required to add this powerful wireless networking capability to our products. ETRX2-PA offers fast integration opportunities and the shortest possible time for marketing your products.
