FRDM-CD1030EVM: FRDM-CD1030EVM Switch Detection Interface Evaluation Kit Quick Start

Overview

FRDM-CD1030EVM is equipped with CD1030 – 33-channel switch detection interface :

Can detect the closing and opening of up to 33 switch contacts.
The switch status (on/off) is transmitted to the MCU
The device also features a 35-to-1 analog multiplexer that reads inputs as analog values.

The KIT-SW33-EVB switch circuit board (sold separately) contains:

Fully assembled switch circuit board with 33 DIP switches supporting shutdown to GND or battery voltage on input channels.
The 36-pin adapter circuit board provides easy access to all 33 input channels, including the protected R/C network on the FRDM-CD1030EVM.
The switch and adapter are connected to J16 on the FRDM-CD1030EVM for verification and testing.
