Overview

The Freedom development board for KW39/38/37 MCU comes with 2.4 GHz Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Generic FSK wireless connectivity and CAN/LIN connectivity solutions. The FRDM-KW38 kit includes the Freedom board, which can be used as a development board or a Shield expansion board to connect to the host processor. FRDM-KW38 high-sensitivity, optimized 2.4 GHz radio features PCB F antenna (can be bypassed for testing via SMA connection), CAN and LIN transceiver, 4-Mb external serial flash memory, multiple power supply options, push-pull and Capacitive touch buttons, switches, LEDs and integrated sensors.
