uses waste power strips and 8266, relays to realize remote control of home appliances. The main highlight of this project is to connect 8266 to home appliances without loss. Like other methods, you need to cut the power cord of the appliance. As shown in the picture
, an old power strip is disassembled, and the relay is connected in series to the live wire in front of the second and third sockets. The first socket is reserved for powering the 8266. In order to facilitate programming, NodeMCU is used, and 8266_01s is also supported. At least one pin is required to be connected to a relay. Due to the powerful functions of 8266, it can not only control TCP connections with mobile phones, but also achieve ultra-remote control through IoT platforms such as Alibaba Cloud. It can even access the three elves and Siri through platforms such as lighting to achieve voice control and scene settings. Due to time constraints, this project only provides the TCP version. The highlight of this project is the lossless connection between 8266 and electrical appliances. It can be adapted to all socket electrical appliances through the wiring board. In the demonstration video, an infrared transmitter module is also added, which can simulate a TV remote control. For air conditioner remote control, if you use 01s plus relay, the cost only costs 10 yuan to achieve ultra-low-cost intelligent control.
