Practical 5-port Gigabit switch [with shell]

Overview

This is a 5-port Gigabit switch designed based on RTL8367RB. It is extremely cost-effective and super practical. It comes with a shell file and is comparable to various Gigabit switches on the market!

Modification history: 2021.9.17: The 3.3V electrolytic capacitor is modified from 100uf to 220uf to improve stability

**V2.0 updated! Smaller size, smaller package, optimized circuit, and more cost-saving! **Link: https://oshwhub.com/Kirito/shi-gong-zhong-V2.0shi-yong-5kou

RTL8367RB is a high-performance 5+2-port Gigabit Ethernet switch in LQFP128 package. Integrated low-power Giga-PHY, each port supports full-duplex 10/100/1000M. The peripheral circuit is simple and only requires 3.3V and 1.0V power supplies and a 25MHz passive crystal oscillator . For specific applications, RTL8367RB supports two additional interfaces, which can be configured as RGMII/MII interfaces. This project is an ordinary switch without network management function . This project uses a 4-layer board. The power layer and signal layer are separated and laid on the ground to ensure the stability of the Gigabit signal. There are two onboard power indicators to determine whether the system is working properly. The network port uses HanRun's HR911130A Gigabit network port, which comes with an isolation transformer. Note that it has 10 pins instead of 8 pins like 100M . Since each port of RTL8367RB has 3 LED indicator interfaces, namely 1000M, 100M and active, the yellow light of the network port indicates a 100M connection, the green light indicates a Gigabit connection, and the additional LED indicates that the port is active.

Use universal TYPE-C power supply, 5V2A power supply is recommended. To ensure stable operation, please add a heat sink for heat dissipation when using it. It will generate a lot of heat when working at full load. A 5V fan interface is reserved. You can add a Raspberry if possible. The kind of fan used in Pi enhances heat dissipation.

The acrylic production file for the shell has been placed in the attachment. You can download it yourself and find TB to cut it. Note that the acrylic thickness is 2mm . The file was drawn using AutoCAD2018. If it cannot be opened, it may be a version compatibility issue.
