Overview
Project Introduction
This is an ART PI function expansion board designed based on ART PI. It integrates audio, RGB to HDMI, RGB to VGA, USB docking station, and 4G module interface; ART PI can also be connected to a display screen, mouse, keyboard and USB flash drive. etc., to achieve functional interaction like Raspberry Pi. For RGB TO HDMI/VGA programming, please refer to the atomic information. Features:
1. Centrally convert the audio and video signals of ART PI into HDMI signals (compatible with punctual atoms), so that ART PI can also be displayed on display devices with HDMI interfaces and have larger display screens;
2. It has USB expansion function, adds USB interface, and reduces anxiety about lack of USB;
3. It has a 4G module interface (compatible with the 4G module of Punctual Atom), which enables ART PI to realize 4G communication; it also enables ART PI to have the learning function of 4G communication.
Key component selection
RGB to HDMI chip:
SiI9022A, SiI9022a is an ultra-low power HDMI transmitter with higher integration and stronger power management features. It is suitable for portable consumer electronics devices such as mobile phones, cameras, portable media players and personal Internet devices; implementation Audio, RGB video signals are converted into HDMI signals.

USB expansion chip:
SL2.1A, SL2.1A is a domestic USB2.0 4-port chip. For 5V power supply, you only need to add a filter capacitor to the external capacitor. The chip has its own reset circuit internally, and the external circuit is extremely simple.
SiI9022A power chip:
XC6206P122MR, LDO voltage regulator/regulator power IC.
ART PI pin usage
RGB to HDMI function pins:
1. ART PI's RGB888 FPC connector is connected to the FPC socket through a reverse FPC flexible cable. The interface pins use RGB888, I2C, TS_RST, LCD_CLK, LCD_BL, LCD_HSYNC, LCD_VSYNC, TS_IIC_INT;
2. I2S2: PI0(I2S2_WS), PI1(I2S2_CK), PI3(I2S2_SDO), PC6(I2S2_MCK); ( I2S (Inter-IC Sound) bus, also known as integrated circuit built-in audio bus, is one of Philips’ digital audio equipment A bus standard developed for audio data transmission between devices .)
3. PA15:HDMI_CEC.
USB extension function pins:
USB_FS:PA11(USB_OTG_N),PA12(USB_OTG_P);
4G module interface pins:
DM1 and DP1 using USB expansion function.
New features
1. RGB to VGA;
2. Wildfire LCD interface;
3. TYPE-C interface.
Precautions
1. In order to facilitate wiring in the second version, the positioning holes of the USB package are missing, and the positioning pins need to be cut off when welding the USB socket;
2. The cost of the RGB to VGA conversion solution is too high and there is little information, so it is not recommended;
3. The 4G module has no financial support and is reserved for function expansion;
