Awtrix clock LED matrix PCB, this version does not have capacitors drawn. LED of ws2812-35_35. The PCB size is changed to 202mmX55mm (V2.1 version), hoping to make it as small as possible. I haven’t assembled my own yet, so I’ll use the pictures on a certain yellow fish to show the final effect. The size of this PCB can just fit the construction size of this building block. The building block itself is 8*8 mm and the bayonet of the building block is 1 mm. It seems that 30 yuan from a building block treasure can buy about 3,000 parts. Compared to the expensive and rough shell of 3D printing, I personally prefer the shell made of building blocks. As a rough estimate, the whole set costs around a hundred dollars. If you like larger sizes, check out my other project using 5050LED, which can be cheaper because 5050 LEDs are cheaper than 3535 LEDs.
In addition, I haven’t learned how to modify the 3D printing file of the grille yet. The calculated dimensions are height 55*width 202, left and right borders 5.5 mm, top and bottom borders 4 mm, and middle grid spacing 1 mm.
The last step is to customize the black translucent acrylic panel, with a height of 62*width of 209 and a 2mm rounded corner.
The above size is just right for this building block to fit in perfectly.
